RESOLUTION RECEIVING CONSTRUCTION BIDS
AND AWARDING CONTRACT AND ORDERING PROJECT
FOR 7TH STREET PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement consisting of extension
of sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, and roadway necessary to serve the St. Henry's
Church site, bids were received, opened, and tabulated according to law, and the following bids
were received complying with the advertisement:

AND WHEREAS, it appears that Richard Knutson, Inc., of Savage, Minnesota, is the lowest
responsible bidder; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner has waived rights to a public hearing and entered into an assessment
agreement specifying assessment program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO,
MINNESOTA:
The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached
contract with Richard Knutson, Inc., of Savage, Minnesota, in the name of the City of
Monticello for the extension of sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, and roadway
necessary to serve the St. Henry's Church site according to the plans and specifications
therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk.

2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the
next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
3. The project is hereby ordered.
