City Council Resolution 1998-45RESOLUTION NO. 98-45 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID PROJECT NO. 98-23C EXTENSION OF UTILITIES TO WILDWOOD RIDGE PLAT AND ADJACENT PROPERTIES WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for an improvement calling for the extension of public utilities across County Road 118 from the Briar Oakes/Oak Ridge development areas to serve the Wildwood Ridge plat and adjoining areas, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: CONTRACTOR TOTAL BID PLUS ALT.#1 TOTAL BID PLUS ALT.#2 C.W. Invalid Bid AND WHEREAS, it appears that C.W. Houle, Inc. of Shoreview, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA: The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with C.W. Houle, Inc. of Shoreview, Minnesota in the name of the City of Monticello for an improvement calling for the extension of public utilities across County Road 118 from the Briar Oakes/Oak Ridge development areas to serve the Wildwood Ridge plat and adjoining areas according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Administrator. The City Administrator is hereby authorized an directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
