RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FEASIBILITY REPORT,
AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND CALL
FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT 98-24C BOOSTER STATION
MONTE HILL/WILDWOOD RIDGE
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted August 10, 1998 a report has been
prepared by the City Engineer, WSB & Associates, Inc. with reference to the improvement of the
municipal water system by the construction of a potable water booster station and associated
appurtenances, and this report was received by the Council on October 26, 1998, and
WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is
necessary, cost effective and feasible,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO,
MINNESOTA:
The Council will consider the improvement of the municipal water system in accordance
with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of
the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost
of the improvement of $418,000.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 14`" day of
December, 1998 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7 p.m. and the City
Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as
required by law.
Adopted by the Monticello City Council this 26`" day of October, 1998.
