RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE
OF GAMBLING LICENSES
WHEREAS, the Monticello Lions Club has submitted applications to the City Council
of Monticello for renewal of the following gambling licenses operated by the Club in
Monticello, Minnesota:
1. Hawks Sports Bar & Grill
Highway 75 East
2. J.P.'s Annex
530 Cedar Street
3. Joyner Lanes
101 Chelsea Road
WHEREAS, upon review of the organization's activities, the Council is not opposed to
the gambling licenses being renewed by the State Gambling Control Board, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL that the (3)
gambling license renewals listed above are hereby approved, and the State Gambling
Control Board is authorized to process the applications.
