RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE
OF A GAMBLING LICENSE
WHEREAS, the Church of St. Henry has submitted an application to the City
Council of Monticello for the issuance of a charitable gambling license for
September 14 and 15, 1996, as part of their Annual Fall Festival in Monticello,
Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, upon review of the organization's activities, the Council is not opposed
to the gambling license being issued by the State Gambling Control Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL that the Church
of St. Henry application for a gambling license listed above is hereby approved, and
the State Gambling Control Board is authorized to process the application.
