RESOLUTION RECEIVING FEASIBILITY REPORT,
ORDERING IMPROVEMENT, AND
AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
FOR SCHOOL BOULEVARD FROM FALLON AVENUE
TO STATE HIGHWAY 25
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted December 12, 1994, a
feasibility study has been prepared outlining the design, cost, and finance plan for
the development of School Boulevard and associated sanitary sewer, watermain,
and storm sewer improvements from Fallon Avenue to State Highway 25, and said
feasibility study has been prepared by the City Engineer and received by the City
Council on March 27, 1995; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner has waived his rights to a public hearing on the
improvement project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA:
1. OSM is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. They shall
prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement.
2. The Council will consider the improvement of School Boulevard in
accordance with the report and will finance the entire project and assess a
portion of the total cost estimated at $1,187,000.
3. The improvement project is hereby ordered.
