RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE ENVIRONMENTAL
ASSESSMENT WORKSHEET FOR THE
WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY EXPANSION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City has determined the need for an expansion of the wastewater
treatment plant and has prepared a Wastewater Facilities Planning Report, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has accepted the Wastewater Facilities Planning
Report and selected the sequencing batch reactor process as the preferred treatment
process for this expansion project, and
WHEREAS, the City has authorized the preparation of an environmental
assessment worksheet for this expansion, and the report was reviewed with the
City Council on September 25, 1995.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City Council accepts the environmental assessment worksheet as
prepared.
2. The environmental assessment worksheet is hereby authorized to be
submitted to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency for their review and
approval in conjunction with the Wastewater Facilities Planning Report.
