RESOLUTION OF ROADWAY EASEMENT
Following a public hearing held on the 25th day of July, 1994, at 7 p.m., at the
Monticello City Hall, the City Council for the City of Monticello considered the
vacation of a portion of the former trunk highway right-of-way which had
previously been revoked to the City of Monticello by Wright County. Said vacation
of the Highway 25 right-of-way easement rights is described as follows:
Parcel A --That part of Tract A described below:
Tract A. The South 40 rods of Lot "A" of the Southeast Quarter of the
Southwest Quarter of Section 11, Township 121 North, Range
25 West, Wright County, Minnesota;
which lies within a distance of 50 feet on each side of Line 1 described
below and southerly of a line run parallel with and distant 100 feet
southerly of Line 2 described below:
Line 1. Beginning at the point of intersection of the center lines of
Broadway Avenue and Pine Street in the Village (now City) of
Monticello; thence run southwesterly along the center line of
said Pine Street and its southwesterly extension for 2594.1
feet; thence deflect to the left on a 4 degree 00 minute 00
second curve (delta angle 28 degrees 18 minutes 00 seconds) for
707.5 feet; thence on tangent to said curve for 314.8 feet;
thence deflect to the right on a 4 degree 00 minute 00 second
curve (delta angle 30 degrees 14 minutes 00 seconds) for 370
feet and there terminating;
Line 2. From a point on the east line of said Section 11, distant 99.8
feet north of the southeast corner thereof, run northwesterly at
an angle of 64 degrees 56 minutes 00 seconds from said east
section line (measured from north to west) for 209.8 feet;
thence deflect to the left at an angle of 10 degrees 30 minutes
00 seconds for 2090.03 feet; thence deflect to the left at an
angle of 90 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds for 84 feet to the
point of beginning of Line 2 to be described; thence deflect to
the right at an angle of 85 degrees 34 minutes 15 seconds for
336.67 feet; thence deflect to the left on a 6 degree 00 minute
00 second curve (delta angle 17 degrees 28 minutes 12 seconds)
for 291.2 feet; thence on tangent to said curve for 303.7 feet;
thence deflect to the right on a 4 degree 00 minute 00 second

curve (delta angle 12 degrees 54 minutes 38 seconds) for 322.8
feet; thence on tangent to said curve for 200 feet and there
terminating.
Following discussion, the Monticello City Council voted unanimously in favor of
vacating the City's rights to the tract of land described above.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Monticello hereby releases forever and quit
claims to Grantee, and to his successors and assigns, all the right, title, interest,
estate, claim and demand, both at law and in equity, of the Grantor, of, in and to
all that real property described above as Parcel A, located in Wright County,
Minnesota, together with all improvements, ways, easements, right, privileges and
appurtenances held or owned by or of Grantor in Parcel A.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD all of Parcel A, together with the appurtenances
belonging thereto to Grantee, and his successors and assigns forever.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Grantor has executed and delivered this resolution
as of this 25th day of July, 1994.
