RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE
PROPOSED MODIFICATION, BY THE HOUSING AND
REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY IN AND FOR THE CITY OF
MONTICELLO, OF THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT NO. 1, THE MODIFICATION OF
THE TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLANS FOR TAX
INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICTS NO. 1-1 THROUGH 1-17,
SPECIFICALLY TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO.
9 AND THE ADOPTION OF THE TAX INCREMENT
FINANCING PLAN FOR TAX INCREMENT FINANCING
DISTRICT NO. 1-18, ALL LOCATED WITHIN
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT NO. 1.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of the City of
Monticello, Minnesota (the "City"), as follows:
Section 1. Public Hearing. This Council shall meet on November 28, 19949
at approximately 7:00 p.m., to hold a public hearing on the following matters: (a)
the proposed modification, by increased project costs and enlarged geographic
area, of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority's (the "Authority")
Redevelopment Project No. 1; (b) the proposed modification, by increased project
costs and enlarged geographic area, of Tax Increment Financing Districts No. 1-1
through 1-17 specifically Tax Increment Financing District No. 9, located within
Redevelopment Project No. 1; (c) the establishment of Tax Increment Financing
District No. 1-18, located within Redevelopment Project No. 1; (d) the proposed
adoption of the Modified Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment Project No. 1;
(e) the proposed adoption of the Modified Tax Increment Financing Plans for Tax
Increment Financing Districts No. 1-1 through 1-17 (f) the proposed adoption of

the Tax Increment Financing Plan for Tax Increment Financing District No. 1-18,
all pursuant to and in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.001 to
469.047, inclusive, as amended, and Sections 469.174 to 469.179, inclusive, as
amended.
Section 2. Notice of Hearing,: Filing of Program. The City Administrator
is authorized and directed to cause notice of hearing, substantially in the form
attached hereto as Exhibit A, to be given as required by law, to place a copy of
the proposed Modified Redevelopment Plan, Modified Tax Increment Financing
Plans and Tax Increment Financing Plan on file in the Administrator's office at
City Hall and to make such copy available for inspection by the public no later
than November 7, 1994.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Brad Fyle and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof:
Warren Smith, Brad Fyle, Clint Herbst, Dan Blonigen
And the following voted against the same: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the
Council in and for the City of Monticello, Minnesota, on November 14 , 1994.
