A RESOLUTION ADOPTING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT NO. 236
APPROVING REZONING OF CARDINAL HILLS
DEVELOPMENT AREA
WHEREAS, Value Plus Homes, Inc., of Monticello has applied for rezoning of the
balance of the Cardinal Hills residential subdivision from AO (agriculture -open space)
to R-1 (single family residential); and
WHEREAS, the Monticello City Council has reviewed the request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the rezoning request be approved for
the following reasons:
1. The request is consistent with the comprehensive plan.
2. The area is ripe for development in a manner consistent with R-1 uses.
