RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION
OF REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT
EXTENSION OF SANITARY SEWER AND
WATER MAIN TO SOUTHWEST AREA
WHEREAS, it is proposed to extend sewer and water main improvements to Gould
Brothers Chevrolet and to the Stuart Hoglund property, and to assess the
benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to
Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 and;
WHEREAS, Stuart Hoglund and John Michaelis have agreed to fund the cost to
prepare the report on the improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA:
That the proposed improvement be referred to Bret Weiss of Orr-Schelen-Mayeron
& Associates for study and that he is instructed to report to the Council with all
convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the
proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as
proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of
the improvement as recommended.
Initiation of the study is contingent on John Michealis and Stuart Hoglund
providing funds to the city in an amount equal to the approximate cost to complete
the study.
Adopted by the Council this 13th day of May, 1991.
