RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE COMMISSIONER OF
TRANSPORTATION TO CONDUCT A SPEED STUDY
FOR CHELSEA ROAD
WHEREAS, the City of Monticello is desirous of establishing a
reasonable and safe speed limit along Chelsea Road from County
Road 117 to County Road 118 within the city limits.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Commissioner of Transportation is hereby requested to
make the necessary investigation to determine the
reasonable and safe speed as provided in Section 169.14,
Subdivision 5, of Minnesota Statutes on the following
street:
Chelsea Road from County Road 117 to County
Road 118 within the city of Monticello.
