RESOLUTION RECEIVING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND
CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted December 11, 1989, a
report has been prepared by Orr-Schelen-Mayeron & Asso., consulting engineer
with reference to construction on 7th Steet from Locust 5teet to Minnesota
Steet and Minnesota 5teet from the existing bituminous south of 6th Steet to
7th Steet, including contruction of sanitary sewer, water main extensions and
storm water drainage facilities and appurtenant work, and this report was
received by the Council on January 29, 1990.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvements to 7th Street and
Minnesota Steet, including water mains, sanitary sewer, storm sewer
facilities and appurtenant work in accordance with the feasibility report
and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost
of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, at an
estimated cost of $385,000.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvements on
February 12, 1990, in the Council Chambers of City Hall, at 7:00 p.m. and
the City Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such
hearing and improvement as required by law.
