DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF FEASIBILITY REPORT
Be it resolved by the City Council of Monticello, Minnesota:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Crocus Lane
with sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, curb and gutter,
and bituminous paving has been filed with the Council on
February 26, 1990, is hereby declared to be signed by 100 of
the property owners affected thereby. This declaration is
made in conformity to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.035.
2. The petitioners shall be required to deposit $1,000 with the
City Administrator to be held in escrow to cover the estimated
cost of the feasibility study, which would be returned upon
Council ordering the improvement.
3. The petition is hereby referred to Orr-Schelen-Mayeron &
Associates, City Engineer, and they are instructed to report
to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council
in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is
feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed
or in connection with some other improvement, and the
estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
