CITY OF MONTICELLO
WRIGHT COUNTY, MINNESOTA
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 10 OF THE MONTICELLO CITY
CODE (THE ZONING ORDINANCE) ESTABLISHING GOVERNMENTAL
AND PUBLIC UTILITY BUILDINGS AS CONDITIONAL USES IN THE 13-3,
HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL, ZONING DISTRICT.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO HEREBY ORDAINS:
Title 10, Section 13-4, of the Monticello City Code (B-3 District Conditional
Uses) is hereby amended to add the following:
[R] Governmental and public utility buildings and structures necessary for
the health, safety, and general welfare of the community provided
that:
1. Conformity with the surrounding neighborhood is maintained
and required setbacks and side yard requirements are met.
2. Adequate screening from neighboring uses and landscaping is
provided in accordance with Chapter 3, Section 2, of this
ordinance.
3. The provisions of Chapter 22 of this ordinance are considered
and satisfactorily met.
This ordinance shall become effective immediate upon its passage and publication.
Adopted by the Monticello City Council this 8th day of December, 1997.
