City Council Ordinance 198ORDINANCE AMENDMENT NO. 198
THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO HEREBY ORDAINS THAT ORDINANCE
SECTION 3-1 [I] OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE BE AMENDED TO READ AS
FOLLOWS:
3-1: NON -CONFORMING BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES, AND USES:
[I] Normal maintenance of a building or other structure
containing or related to a lawful non -conforming
use is permitted, including necessary non-
structural repairs and incidental alteration which
do not physically extend or intensify the non-
conforming use.
Normal maintenance, necessary non-structural
repairs, and incidental alteration of a lawful non-
conforming sign includes repair or maintenance of
existing lettering done without changing the
subject, form, or design of the lawful non-
conforming sign.
