City Council Ordinance 116)RDINANCE AMENDMENT 1982 #116 AN AMENDMENT TO THE MONTICELLO CITY CODE OF ORDINANCES The City Council of the City of Monticello do hereby ordain: The following provision shall be added to Article 3, Chapter 4, Section 2, to wit: All applicants shall file with the City a certificate of liquor liability insurance in an amount not less than three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000.00). The City Council further ordains the following provision shall be added to Article 3, Chapter 4, Section 3, and shall be known as Subdivision D, to wit: Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Council may, upon proper application as stipulated in 3-4-2, issue a permit for the display and consumption of intoxicating liquor, and the serving of any liquid for the purpose of mixing with intoxicating liquor for a period of one day. No more than five such permits may be issued in a single year. No more than two such permits shall be issued to the same organization or an affiliate in a single year. The fee for such permit shall be set from time to time by the Council, but shall not exceed $25.00. All permits issued under this provision shall be approved by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. The permit issued pursuant to this section shall be valid only for the day indicated on it.
