RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
WHEREAS, the City's Consulting Engineer, Orr-Schelen-Mayeron & Associaumshouse,
prepared plans and specifications for the improvement of a new well, p p
and appurtenant equipment and has presented such plans and specifications to
the Council for approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is on file at City
Hall, are hereby approved.
2, The City Administrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted in
the Monticello Times and in the Construocfisuchuimprovement under
advertisement for bids upon the making
such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be
published for 21 days, shall specify the work to be done, shall
state that bids will be received by the Administ1988; attwhich time
11:00 a.m. on January 25
they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the City
Hall by the City Administrator and Engineer, will then be m. on
tabulated, and will be considered by the Council at 7:30 p.
January 25 , 1988, in the Council Chambers. No
bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the
Administrator and accompanied by a cash deposit, ofsMonticellocfor
bid bond, or certified check payable to the City
5~ of the amount of such bid.
3. Springsted, Inc., is hereby designated the financial consultant for
the financing of this public improvement.
