RESOLUTION ORDERING THE MAKING OF IMPROVEMENTS
APPURTENANT TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF A
SANITARY SEWER INTERCEPTOR LINE
WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted the 27th day
of January, 1986, fixed a date for a public Council hearing on the proposed
improvement of 5th Street from Pine to Maple by installing water distribution
lines, sanitary sewer collection lines, constructing hard surfaced streets
including storm sewer and curb and gutter, and for the proposed improvement
of Chestnut Street from Broadway Street to River Street by installing
sanitary sewer and hard surfaced streets including curb and gutter,
all of which improvements are appurtenant to the planned and approved
construction of a sanitary sewer interceptor line, and
WHEREAS, 10 days published notice of the hearing through two weekly
publications of the required notice was given, and the hearing was held
thereon on the 10th day of February, 1986, at which time all persons
desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA:
1. Such improvements appurtenant to the construction of sanitary
sewer interceptor line is hereby ordered as proposed in the
Council resolution adopted the 27th day of January, 1986.
2. Orr-Schelen-Mayeron & Associates is hereby designated as the
engineer for this improvement. Plans and specifications for
the sanitary sewer interceptor line shall include plans and
specifications for the above described appurtenant work.
3. The Advertisement for Bids for the making of such improvement
which was authorized pursuant to a resolution duly adopted
on the 27th day of January, 1986, shall include advertisement
for the above described appurtenant work.

record in the offices of the City of Monticello, which resolution was adopted by the

place at which meetings of the City Council are regularly held. Member
Maxwell moved the adoption of the attached resolution. The motion for
adoption of the attached resolution was seconded by Member Blonigen A

Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. The attached
resolution is in full force and effect and no action has been taken by the City
Council of the City of Monticello which would in any way alter or amend the
attached resolution.
