RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING
THE MODIFICATION OF THE EXISTING TAX INCREMENT
FINANCE REDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT #2 PURSUANT TO
MINNESOTA STATUTES, SECTIONS 273.71 ET SEQ.,
THE TAX INCREMENT FINANCING ACT
WHEREAS, Tax Increment Finance Redevelopment District #2
was duly adopted by the City Council and certified by the Wright
County Auditor on November 28, 1983, and
WHEREAS, the Monticello Housing and Redevelopment Authority
has adopted a resolution approving Modification No. 1, dated 12 November,
1985, to the Tax Increment Finance Redevelopment District #2 pursuant
to the provisions of M.S., Section 273.74, and
WHEREAS, said resolution requests the City Council to set
a public hearing on said Modification No. 1.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MONTICELLO, MN THAT:
1) A public hearing shall be held at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, December 9,
1985, in the City Council Chambers.
2) The City Administrator shall cause proper notice to be given
in the official newspaper.
