RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND SETTING
A SUPPLEMENTAL SPECIAL TAX LEVY
IN ANTICIPATION OF DEBT RETIREMENT OF
1985 FIRE HALL GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS
WHEREAS, a special election on the question of whether or not
the City should issue its general obligation bonds in an amount
not exceeding $863,000 for the purposes of Fire Hall improvements
was duly held on November 6, 1984, and;
WHEREAS, the results of said election have been declared valid
and final pursuant to Resolution 1984 #46, and those results
are as follows:

WHEREAS, pursuant to the results of said election, the City
Council shall proceed with the sale of General Obligation Bonds
in the amount of $860,000 in order to make said improvements
to the Fire Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA THAT there be and hereby is levied upon
the taxable property of the City of Monticello for the fiscal
year commencing on January 1, 1985, the amount of $115,028
for the purpose of debt retirement with respect to the 1985
General Obligation Fire Hall Bonds.
The City Administrator is hereby instructed to transmit a certified
copy of this resolution to the County Auditor of Wright County,
Minnesota.
Adopted this 13th day of November, 1984.
