RESOLUTION CANVASSING THE ELECTION
AND DECLARING THE RESULTS (NOVEMBER 6, 1984)
WHEREAS, the City Administrator has duly presented to the City
Council the Summary Statement of ballots voted in the Povember 6,
1984, Municipal Election, and
WHEREAS, said statement has been sworn to by the judge of said
election, and
WHEREAS, the total of votes cast for the offices and special
question voted upon are as follows, to-wit:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MONTICELLO THAT the totals listed above are deemed to be correct,
the election is deemed to be valid, and the official winners
of the election are declared to be as follows:
For Council, Daniel Blonigen and William Fair; For Mayor,
Arve Grimsmo.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the question with respect to the
City issuing bonds in an amount not exceeding $863,000 for Fire
Department improvements is declared to have passed.
