RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE MODIFICATION OF THE
EXISTING REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES, SECTIONS
462.411 ET SE(~., THE MUNICIPAL HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT ACT AND THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF A TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA
STATUTES, SECTIONS 273.71 to 273.78 INCLUSIVE, THE TAX INCREMENT FINANCING
ACT.
WHEREAS, the Monticello Housing and Redevelopment Authority has adopted
a resolution approving Modification No. 1, dated March 15, 1984, to the
Monticello Redevelopment Project Plan pursuant to the provisions of
M.S., Section 462.411, et secs., and
WHEREAS, said resolution requests the City Council to set a public
hearing on said Modification No. 1 and the accompanying Tax Increment
Finance Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MONTICELLO, MN THAT:
1) A public hearing shall be held at 7:30 P.M., on Monday, April 9,
1984, in the City Council Chambers.
2) The City Administrator shall cause proper notice to be given in
the official newspaper.
