City Council Resolution 1982-37RESOLUTION 1982 # 37
WHEREAS, the Monticello Senior Citizen`s Center is considered a
valuable asset to the community; and
WHEREAS, the Monticello Senior Citizen's Center provides a central
facility which promotes the overall well being of the senior citizens;
and
WHEREAS, the McKnight Foundation, a private charitable organization,
provides grant funding to Senior Citizen's Centers.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO,
MINNESOTA that the director of the Senior Citizen's Center is hereby
authorized and encouraged to apply for McKnight Foundation funding to
be utilized to assist with the expansion of the present facility.
WHEREUPON SAID RESOLUTION WAS DECLARED AND ADOPTED THIS 26th day
of April, 1982.
