RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ROLLS FOR
1980-1 & 1980-2 IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the City Council of Monticello, Minnesota, held a public
hearing on February 9, 1981, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes
429.061; and
WHEREAS, notice of said meeting was published in the Monticello
Times, the official newspaper for the City of Monticello, on January 15,
1981; and
WHEREAS, notice of said meeting was mailed to owners of parcels
proposed for assessments on January 12, 1981;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is herby resolved by the City Council of
Monticello to adopt the assessment roll for the above-mentioned project
and certify the same to the County Auditor for collection. Official copy
of assessment roll is on file with the City Clerk.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED, to spread said assessment roll over 10 years;
homestead property over 20 years; with equal principal payments and
interest at the rate of 9-3/4% on ,unpaid principal balance.
IT IS ALSO FURTHER RESOLVED, that to the first annual assessment
installment will be added interest from February 10, 1981 to December 31,
1982.
Motion by Phil White, seconded by Ken Maus to adopt above resolution.
VOTING IN FAVOR: Arve Grimsmo, Dan Blonigen, Fran Fair, Ken Maus,
Phil White.
OPPOSED: None
ABSENT: None
Motion carried.
Resolution adopted this 9th day of
