RESOIZTTION ORDEP.NG PLANS AND SPEICIFICATIONS
1981-1 ~IPROVEMII4T PROJE~,CT
8E IT RESOLVID, by the City Council of Monticello, Minnesota,
as follows:
1. It is hereby found and determined that notice of a hearing
on the 1981-1 and 1982-2 Tmprovenent Projects in the City of Monticello
was duly mailed on March 12, 1981, and published in the Monticello
Times, the official newspaper of the City, on Pdarch 5, 1981 and
March 12, 1981, as required by Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, and
as ordered by resolution of this Council adopted February 23, 1981.
2. A public hearing was held on March 23, 1981, acid opportunity
given at such hearing to all persons to make known their views on
said improvgnent.
3. All necessary easgnents for the installation of said
improvements have been negotiated with property owner. Mel Wolters,
for $5,000.00 and the deferral of a portion of the proposed assess-
ments for one year with interest.
4. The council being fully advised of the pertinent facts,
does hereby autYiorize and direct Mr. John gadalich of the Consulting
Engineering Firm of Orr-Schelen-Mayeron & Associates of Minneapolis,
Minnesota, to prepare final plans and specifications for said ccgnbined
improv~nent to be known as 1981-1 Improv~nent Project and sutmit thin
to the council for approval on June 8, 1981.
