RESOLUTION DIREICTING CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO ADVERTISE
FOR CONSTRUCTION BIDS FOR THE 1981-1 Il~ROVEb1EDFr PRQ7ECT
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Monticello, Minnesota
as follows:
1. Mr. John Badalich of the City's Consulting Engineering
Firm of Orr-Schelen Mayeron & Associates has been instructed to
sukmit final plans and specifications for the 1981-1 Improv~nent
Project to t_he City Council for approval on June 8, 1981, with
the council reserving the right to make any changes in said plans
which hereafter appear to be necessary and expedient.
2. The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed
to cause advertis~nent for bids for the construction of said improve-
ment to be published by law. Date and time for opening of bids shall
take place at the Monticello City Hall on June 19, 1981, at 2:00 P.M.
The bid security shall be in the amount of 5~ of the amount of the
bid.
3. The City Administrator and said engineer are hereby authorized
and directed to receive, open and tabulate bids received at said time
and place, and the Council shall meet at the City Hall in the City of
Monticello on June 22, 1981, at 7x30 P.P~I., for the purpose of consider-
ing such bids and awarding a contract, or else rejecting all bids.
