City Council Resolution 1981-20

RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND DIRECTING CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO ADVERTISE
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION BIDS FOR THE
1981-2 CEDAR ST. STORM-SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Monticello,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. Mr John Badalich of the city's consulting engineering
firm of Orr-Schelen-Mayeron and Associates, has sub-
mitted final plans and specifications for the 1981-2
Cedar Street Storm-Sewer Improvement Project which
are hereby adopted as submitted. The City Council
reserves the right to make any changes in said plans
which may hereafter appear to be necessary and
expedient.
2. The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed
to cause advertisement for bids for the construction of
said improvement to be published by law. Date and time
for opening of bids shall take place at the Monticello
City Hall on June 19, 1981, at 2:00 P.M. The bid security
shall be in the amount of 5~ of the amount of bid.
3. The City Administrator and said engineer are hereby
authorized and directed to receive, open and tabulate
bids received at said time and place, and the Council
shall meet at the City Hall in the City of Monticello on
June 22, 1981 at 7:30 P.M., for the purpose of considering
such bids and awarding a contract, or else rejecting all
bids.
