City Council Resolution 1980-11
RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR
HEARING ON 1980-2 IMPROVEMENT

WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the City Council of Monticello,
Minnesota adopted April 28, 1980, a report has been prepared by John Badalich
with reference to the improvement of Prairie Road between Hedman Lane South
and Hedman Lane North, with approximately 700' of 10" Sanitary Sewer,
550' of 6" watermain and 500' of bituminous street paving, and the improve-
ment of Lots 16, 17, 18 & 19, Block 4; Lot 3, Block 5; and Lots 1, 2 & 3,
Block 6, The Meadows Subdivision, with sewer and water services, and
this report was received by the Council on May 12, 1980;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Monticello,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in
accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property
for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to
Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, at an estimated cost of the
improvement of $61,080.00.
2. A public hearing shall. be held on such proposed improvement on the
27th day of May, 1980 in the Council Chambers of the Monticello
City Hall at 7:30 P.M., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published
notice of such hearing and improvement, as required by law.
Adopted by the City Council on motion by Phil White, seconded by Dan Blonigen
this 12th day of May, 1980.
VOTING IN FAVOR: Arve Grimsmo, Dan Blonigen, Fran Fair,
Ken Maus, Phil White.
