City Council Resolution 1980-18`~'~
RESOLUTION DIRECTING-CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO
ADVERTISE FOR CONSTRUCTION BIDS FOR THE
1980-1 & 1980-2 IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA, as follows:
1. The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to cause
advertisement for bids for the construction of said improvement to
be published by law. Date and time for opening of bids shall take
place at the Monticello City Hall on August 22, 1980 at 2:00 P.M.
The bid security shall be in the amount of 5°~ of the amount of the
bid.
2. The City Administrator and said engineer are hereby authorized and
directed to receive, open and tabulate bids received at said time
and place, and the Council shall meet at the City Hall in the City
of Monticello on August 25, 1980, at 7:30 P.M:, for the purpose
of considering such bids and awarding a contract, or else rejecting
all bids.
Motion was made by Phil White, seconded by Ken Maus to adopt this
resolution:
Voting in Favor: Arve Grimsmo, Dan Blonigen, Fran Fair, Ken Maus,
Phil White.
Opposed: None
