City Council Resolution 1980-20~`ao
RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ROLLS FOR
1979-1 IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City Council of Monticello, Minnesota, held a public
hearing on September 22, 1980 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes
429.061; and
WHEREAS, notice of said meeting was published in the Monticello Times,
the official newspaper for the City of Monticello, on September 4, 1980; and
WHEREAS, notice of said meeting was mailed to owners of parcels proposed
for assessments on September 8, 1980;
NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved by the City Council of Monticello
to adopt the assessment roll for the above-mentioned project and certify
the same to the County Auditor for collection. Official copy of assessment
roll is on file with the City Clerk.
It is further resolved to spread said assessment roll over 10 years;
homestead property over 20 years; with equal principal payments and interest
at the rate of 70 on unpaid principal balance.
It is also further resolved that to the first annual assessment
installment will be added interest from September 23, 1980 to December 31, 1981.
Motion by Phil White, seconded by Fran Fair to adopt above resolution.

OPPOSED: None
ABSENT: None
Motion Carried.
