JOINT RESOLUTICt~1 of the City of ronticello and Independent School District
No. 882, Monticello Public Schools,
Wf~,REAS, the Legislature has enacted Section 33 of Chapter 609, 1980
session laws, which was effective the day following final enactment and approval
April 24, 1980, and
LEAS, the City of Monticello and Independent School District No. 882,
Monticello Public Schools, have heretofore entered into various agreements and under-
standings, particularly, but not being limited to, a certain Purchase Agree-anent
executed Octobeh. 22, 1919
NCnV, T~iQRE, it is hereby resolved that said Purchase Agreement is
hereby ratified and approved and that the School Board does hereby permanently
transfer the responsibility for maintaining the library to the City of Monticello
and the City of Monticello does hereby accept said responsibility, effective
