City Council Resolution 1979-01RESOLUTION ORDERING FEASIBILITY REPORT
ON 1979-1 IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, IT I5 PROPOSED TO IMPROVE THE FOLLOWING:
1. Seventh Street from the intersection of Seventh and Locust Streets
to and along Seventh Street to its platted westerly limits with a permanent
street, curb, gutter, sewer and water.
2. Cedar Street (formerly Highway 25) from Oakwood Drive (County Road
117) to Minnesota State Highway 25 with sewer and water.
3. Industrial Drive from the intersection of Industrial Drive and
Chelsea Road south to the intersection of Industrial Drive and Dundas Road;
and Dundas Road from the intersection of Industrial Drive and Dundas Road
to the intersection of Dundas Road and Oakwood Drive (County Road 117) with
blacktop.
4. Extension of sewer and water from Chelsea Road to and along the pro-
perty lines between Lots 3 & 4, Block 2, Oakwood Industrial Park and to and
along property lines between Lots 8 & 9 of Block 2, Oakwood Industrial Park
to Dundas Road and then westerly from this point along Dundas Road ap-
proximately 1425 feet and easterly from same point along Dundas Road 1150 feet.
WHEREAS, IT IS PROPOSED to assess the benefitted property for all or a
portion of the cost of improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter
429.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Monticello, MN.:
That the proposed improvement be referred to John Badalich for study
and that he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient
speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the pro-
posed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as
proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated
cost of the improvement as recommended.
Adopted by the Council this 8th day of January, 1979.
