City Council Resolution 1979-08RESOLUTION DECLARING INTENTION TO ADOPT
INDUSTRIAL COST RECOVERY & SEWER USAGE
SYSTEMS AS PART OF CITY ORDINANCE
Be it resolved that the City of Monticello will adopt an
Industrial Cost Recovery and User Charge System based on
study prepared by Orr-Schelen-Mayeron & Associates, Inc.
under their Step II facilities grant contract.
Be it also resolved that the City Council will enact
the developed Industrial Cost Recovery System and User
Charge System into the City Code according to Federal
Regulations Part 35.928-1 (h) and 35.929-2 (e) and that
said City Code which contains the Sewer Usage ordinance and
Industrial Cost Recovery and User Charge System shall
be submitted to Regional Administrator of the Environ-
mental Protection Agency for approval before the
Wastewater Treatment Plant of the City of Monticello is
placed in operation.
