RESOLUTION 'ORDERING REPORT AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON 1 q7?-1 SANITARY SEWER, WATERMAIN, 5TORM SEWER, .STREET & APPURTENANT WORK BE ZT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Monticello, Minnesota as follows: 1. Petitions have been filed with the City Council of Monticello and in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 429.035 their adequacy has been. determined on the following 'i:mprovements : Extension of sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, street and appurtenant work from the intersection of 4th Street and Washington Avenue, southwesterly along Washington Avenue to Chelsea Road in Oakwood In- dustrial Park, then west along Chelsea Road to County-Road 117, then northwesterly along County Road 117 to State Highway 25. Extension of sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, street"and appurtenant work beginning at a,point approximately b00~ S. E. of Highway 25 on County Road 117, then easterly approximately 1800-. Extension of sanitary sewer,. watermain, storm sewer, street and appurtenant work: from County Road 75 (Hillcrest Addition} westerly along Prairie Road approximately $©0', then south approximately,1100~. 2. These aforementioned petitions have been referred to John Badalich, consulting city engineer, with firm of Orr-Schelen-Mayeron and Associates, Inc. and he is in-~ strutted to report to the council April 25, 1977, advising as to the .feasibility of proposed improvements. 3. The council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.11X at an estimated to tai cost of $962,000.00. 4. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed im- provements on the 25th~day of April, 1977 in the Monti- cello City Hall at 7:30 P. M. and the Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law. - Adopted by the council this 11th day of Apri ', 1977. . M/a~yan City dmini rator
