BE IT RESOLVED THAT:

hereafter known as the governing body, of the Vi1].age

Community, hereby requests that the State Planning Agency, State of
Minnesota, make application for an urban planning assistance grant from
the Department of Housing and Urban Development, as authorized under
Section 741 of the Housing Act of 1954, as amended, for the purpose of
providing planning assistance to the community. The governing body of
the community hereby agrees to contribute ~; 375C.00 in cash and
---- in services of employees of the community to the State
Planning Agency, when it is required, for the planning purposes as
hereinafter set forth. The Mayor is hereby

authorized and directed on behalf of the community to enter into an
agreement with the State Planning Agency, State of Minnesota, in
furtherance of its request for federal matching funds for planning
purposes. The money so contributed and the services so pledged shall
be available for expenditure and use by the State Planning Agency,
State of Minnesota, when they have secured a matching federal grant.
The money so deposited shall bear no interest and shall be returned to
the community if federal matching funds are not secured.
