RESOLUTION TO CONSIDER FEASIBILITY STUDY
FOR A REGIONAL AIRPORT FACILITY
WHEREAS, the City of Monticello is desirous
of improving airport facilities within the area
and is interested in a public airport concept;
WHEREAS, pursuant to a joint meeting held on
May 2'7, 1976, with the Minnesota Department of
Aeronautics, City of Buffalo, City of Maple Lake
and City of Monticello officials, a discussion was
held relative to consideration of joint participation
in a feasibility study for a regional airport centrally
located to the above communities.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City
Council of Monticello agrees to participate in a
joint feasibility study for a regional airport
facility with the cities of Buffalo and Maple Lake.
