City Council Resolution 1974-10LD
RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the council adopted
April 8, 1974, a report has been prepared by Meyer-Roblin, Inc.,
with reference to the improvement of Locust Street water main
beginning at the 6" water line on Walnut Street, southerly
under the tracks to Sixth Street, then westerly to the exist-
ing water main on Locust Street, and this report was received
by the council on April 8, 1974•
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA.:
1. The council will consider the improvement of this project
in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting
property for all or a portion of the cost of the improve-
_ ment pursuant to Minnesota Stats., Secs. 429.011 to 429.111
(Laws 1953, Ch. 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost
of the improvement of $10,4'70.00.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement
on the 13th day of May, 1974 in the council chambers of
the city hall at 7:30 P. M., and the clerk shall give mailed
and published notice of such hearing and improvement as
required by law.
