1. Call to Order
Steve Johnson called the meeting to order at 7 a.m.
2. Approve Minutes
DICK VAN ALLEN MOVED TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE MARCH 1 ST,
2016 IEDC MEETING. MARI LOU MCCORMIC SECONDED THE MOTION.
MOTION CARRIED 14 -0.
3. Consideration of adding items to the agenda
None
4. Reports
a. Economic Development: Staff provided updates related to the items on the Planning
Commission agenda and reported on the status of the EDA Manager position.
b. TAC: Staff provided an update related to ongoing and upcoming transportation
issues and projects.
c. City Council: Staff and Council representatives provided project and issue updates
and responded to questions.
d. Chamber of Commerce & Industry: Marcy Anderson reported on current events,
projects and issues.
5. Consideration to review update from industrial land inventory sub -group
Jeff O'Neill and Steve Johnson summarized the report of the industrial land inventory
sub - group.
6. Consideration of final comments on Northwest Monticello Interchange Land Use
Stud
Staff summarized final comments related to the Northwest Monticello Interchange Land
Use Study. The Study will be considered by the City Council on April 25"h

7. Consideration to adopt 2016 IEDC Action Statement
DICK VAN ALLEN MOVED TO ADOPT THE 2016 IEDC ACTION STATEMENT.
OLLIE KOROPCHAK -WHITE SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 14-
0.
8. Consideration of a report from Business and Industry
It was noted that the purpose of the Business and Industry Report is to share information.
011ie Koropchak -White indicated that she would provide further information related to a
hospital tour scheduled for June 23rd at 7:30 a.m.
