DESIGNATING THE COUNTY P NING AGENCY AS THE PLANNING
AGENCY FOR THE VILLAGE, REQUESTING THAT THE VILLAGE
BE INCLUDED IN THE COUNTY-WIDE COMPREHENSIVE SEWER AND
WATER PLANNING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CON-
TRACT WITH THE COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of
County, Minnesota, has declared its intent by resolution t proceed with a program
of comprehensive county sewer and water planning under the provisions of sections
394.21 through 394.37 of the Minnesota Statutes, as amended.
WHEREAS, the said Board of County Commmissioners did, by resolution create
a County Planning Agency to prepare for the County a comprehensive sewer and water
plan for. the orderly future physical development of the area of the County outside
the incorporated limits of municipalities, and,

WHEREAS,.the Village Council of the Village of : 2 ,C
~ County, Minnesota, deems it desirable and necessary
to pro ide for advance sewer and water planning to assure the orderly develop-
ment of the Village, but is without funds to undertake such planning and is
desirous of having the Village included in the comprehensive sewer and water
planning program of the County.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That the Village Council hereby designates the County
Planning Agency as the planning agency for the Village.
2. That the Village Council hereby requests the County
Planning Agency to include the area within the Village
in the county-wide sewer and water comprehensive plan.
3. That the Mayor and the Village Clerk be, and they
hereby are, authorized and directed to enter into a con-
tract with the Board of County Commissioners and/or
the County Planning Agency setting forth the extent of
the sewer and water planning to be done in the Villages

behalf, the extent of participation of each of the parties,
and the relative financial obligations of each party.
4. 'T'hat the Village Clerk be, and he hereby is, authorized and
directed to cooperate fully with the $oard of County
Commissioners and/or the County Planning Agency and with any
planning consultant employed by either, and to furnish from the
files and records of the Village whatever information may be
necessary to expedite the comprehensive sewer and water planning.

5. That the Village Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified
copy of this resolution to the Board of County Commissioners.
6. This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage and approval.
