AMENDMENT TO RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED 1~~D ORDERING
PREPxRi~TION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
WHEREAS, the construction of the sanitary sewer extension along West
River Street from the corner of Chestnut Avenue to the westerly Village limits
and the cost thereof has been $5701,16 the portion the Village will pay as
amended by council is $2870.41 as its share of cost.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS AMENDED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA:
1. The cost of such ~emprovemstit to be specially assessed has been
amended and is hereby declared to be $2830.75.
2. The village clerk-treasurer, with the assistance of the village
consultant engineer shall forwith calt:ulate the proper amount to be specially
assessed as amended for such sanitary sewer extension against every assessable
lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regards to
cash valuation as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed
assessment in his office for public inspection.
3, The clerk-treasurer shall, upon completion of such amended assessment
notify the council thereof.
