~, RESOLUTION VACATING ELi°i STREET
WHEREAS, a written petition to vacate Elm Street Lower Monticello,
bounded by Broadway to the south and the riississippi River to the north,
signed by the abutting property owners, i~lontieello-Big Lake Community
Hospital District, was properly filed with the office of the Village
Clerk of the Village of Monticello, t~iinnesota on the 3rd day of
September, 1963.
WHEREAS, a hearing, preeeeded by two weeks published and posted
notice as prescribed by law, was held on the 7th day of October, 1963.
WHEREAS, anyone objecting to this resolution had an opportunity
to be heard and was heard at this hearing.
~'" WHEREAS, it appears for the interest of the public to grant said
petition.
BF IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Monticello, Wright
County, A°tinnesota; that said Elm Street in Lower Monticello be vacated
and all right, title, interest, or easement revert to the abutting land-
owners. Namely, the West one half of said vacated street to revert to
the fee owners
of Blocks 20 and 23, all in Lower Monticello, Village of t~ionticello,
according to plat on file in the office of the Register of Deeds of Wright
County, kinnesota.
' BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Village Clerk shall record said
resolution in the office of the Register of Deeds, uJright County,
i~tinnesota as prescribed by law upon payment by the Petitioners of al
~ costs in connection with this vacation.
