RESOLUTION NO. 2016-084
AUTHORIZING AN "OPEN BOOK" FORMAT IN LIEU OF THE LOCAL BOARD OF
APPEAL AND EQUALIZATION MEETINS FOR THE 2017 ASSESSMENTS
WHEREAS, the Wright County Assessor's Office has presented an option of moving to an "Open
Book" format in lieu of the formal local Board of Appeal and Equalization meeting for the 2017
assessments; and
WHEREAS, to make the change to an Open Book format, Wright County must receive notification
by December 1, 2016;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA that
the City Council of Monticello, Minnesota has voted to change from the Local Board of Appeal and
Equalization Meeting format to an Open Book meeting format starting with the 2017 Assessment.
ADOPTED BY the Monticello City Council this 14th day of November, 2016.
