Transportation Advisory Commission Minutes 09-10-2015MEETING MINUTES MONTICELLO TRASNPORTATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE Regular Meeting, Thursday, September 10, 2015 — 7:30 a.m. Academy Room, Monticello Community Center Members Present: Luke Dahlheimer, Don Roberts, Brian Stumpf, Bill Tapper Members Absent: Brad Fyle, Rich Harris, Lloyd Hilgart Other Attendees: Jeff O'Neill, City Administrator; Chuck Rickart, WSB 1. Call to Order. Jeff O'Neill called the meeting to order at 7:30 a.m. 2. Approval of minutes from May 14, 2015 Regular Meeting. BILL TAPPER MOVED TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE REGULAR TAC MEETING FROM MAY 14, 2015. MOTION SECONDED BY BRIAN STUMPF. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY, 4 -0. 3. Consideration of adding items to the agenda. A. McDonald's Entrance: Discussed the awkward entrance at the McDonald's site and how it does not work. 4. TH 25 at 7th Street. A. Right turn lanes: B. Signal improvements: C. Perkins access: D. Left turn between TH 25 and Cedar Street: E. Elim in ate parking on 7th Street: 5. 6th Street alignment between Golf Course Road and Elm Street. Chuck Rickart said that WSB will do traffic counts in this area. 6. Highway 25 Corridor Coalition — Joint Powers Agreement progress report. 7. 95th Connection — Giffort Avenue to Broadway. TAC —SEPTEMBER 10, 2015 Page 1 of 2 8. TH 25 U -Turn option south of Kjellberg's. The consensus of the TAC is to leave this alone as it is a MnDOT project and should be their issue to work out with Kjellberg's. 9. Project updates: Chuck Rickart provided updates on the projects listed below with no formal action taken. • Fallon Avenue Overpasst • TH 25 at CSAH 75 • Interchange Study 10. Approve next meeting date and time. The next TAC Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 12, 2015, at 7:30 a.m. in the Academy Room at City Hall. 11.
