SPECIAL MEETING — MONTICELLO CITY COUNCIL
Monday, November 28, 2016 — 6 p.m.
Academy Room, Monticello Community Center
Present: Brian Stumpf, Charlotte Gabler, Lloyd Hilgart, Tom Perrault, Glen Posusta
Absent: None
Others: Jeff O'Neill, City department heads: Wayne Oberg, Angela Schumann, Rachel
Leonard, Sarah Rathlisberger, and Matt Theisen
1. Call to Order
Mayor Brian Stumpf called the special meeting to order at 6 p.m.
2. Utility Rate Discussion
Wayne Oberg gave a brief presentation outlining the Utility Rate structure which
included information on a customer's base charge and a usage charge. This was
described in terms of the new monthly billing system. Also discussed was moving from a
usage measure of cubic feet to gallons. Following discussion on peak demand and
Monticello's rate, Mr. Oberg also touched on payment methods.
3. Adjournment
By consensus the meeting was adjourned at 6:20 p.m.
