RESOLUTION NO. 2009-27
RESOLUTION SUPPORTING REQUEST FOR STATE APPROPRIATIONS
FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Monticello, in conjunction with the Wright County
Board of Commissioners, support the application for State Appropriations for Capital
Improvements to be submitted on June 22, 2009 and that Marc Mattice, Wright County
Parks Administrator, is hereby authorized to submit the request for the 2010 capital
Budget.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Wright County has the financial capability to meet
the match requirement and proper acquisition of the proposed project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon approval of its application by the State,
Wright County may enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota for regional park
land acquisition and that Wright County certifies that it will comply with all applicable
laws and regulations as stated in the bonding request.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Marc Mattice, Wright County Parks
Administrator, is hereby authorized to execute such agreements as are necessary to
implement the project on behalf of the applicant.
Adopted by the City Council of Monticello, Minnesota on the 26th day of May, 2009.
