A. Citizen interest in municipal pool.
Survey conducted in 1988.
Request for wading pool.
General interest expressed by individuals.
B. Parke Commission researches topic and develops water park
concept.
C. Council authorizes water park study.
D. Input provided to City from Hockey Association, and
School Board requesting area -wide input on decision.
E. Water park study postponed --Council authorizes joint
meeting as recommended by the Parke Commission.
III. PURPOSE OF MEETING - Dick Pric (Parke Commission Chairman)
A. Open dialogue between City/School/Townships.
B. Express views on opportunity for cooperation.
1. Civic center/water park/arena issue.
2. General park and recreation issues.
C. Consider development of community recreation needs
survey. (Stove Frank)
Identify coat share arrangement.
D. Determine next stop.
