MINUTES
HOUSING & REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY MEETING
November 29, 1982 - 7:00 P.M.
A regularly scheduled meeting of the Monticello Housing and Redevelopment
Authority was duly held at 7:00 P.M., November 29,1982, in the City
Counc il Chamber s.
Members Present: Phil White, Don Cochran, Vic Vokaty, Bud Schrupp, and
Jack Reeve, Tom Eidem, Mayor Arve Grimsmo, Council
Member Ken Maus.
Members Absent: None.
1. Chairperson White convened a public hearing for the purpose of accepting
comment on the disposition of public lands. Eidem opened the discussion
explaining that Lot 7, Block 3, Oakwood Industrial Park, had been pur-
chased with clear title from the Oakwood Industrial Park Partnership,
and that IXI Laboratories,,> Inc., had agreed to purchase, for the purpose
of establishing a tax increment finance district, the east 180 feet of
said lot. There being no members of the general public present at the
hearing, Chairperson White closed the hearing after 30 minutes.
2. Eidem presented the members of the HRA with copies of the proposed Tax
Increment District #1 Finance plan. He spent some time going over the
individual aspects of the plan. A motion by Schrupp, seconded by Vokaty
and carried unanimously to adopt the following resolution: (See attached
copy) .
3. A motion by Reeve, seconded by Cochran to sell to IXI Laboratories, Inc.,
the east 180 feet of Lot 7, Block 3, oakwood Industrial Park, for the
price of $8,000.00, contingent upon the execution of a complete develop-
ment agreement.
4. A motion by Schrupp, seconded by Reeve and carried unanimously to set the
next regular meeting of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority for
wednesday, January 5th, 1982, at 7:00 P.M. in the Monticello City Hall
Council Chambers.
There being no other business, Chairperson White adjourned the meeting.
