Below find a sample request for a10int resolution for merger.
Please consider and list those ar ments that you feel necessary
to be considered by the township.
Gentlemen:
The Monticello Village Council, wi h a view to affording merger
a final opportunity to materialize, has continued the hearing
for orderly annexation until 7 Jan ary 1971. It is the intention
of the Village Council to pursue t e merger of the Village and
Townsnip until it appears no longer practical or until 7 January
1971. In the pursuit of that merge the Village Council would
strongly suggest to the Township bo rd that our units of govern-
ment submit to the Minnesota Munici al Commission a joint re-
solution for merger.
In considering this offer, we think it necessary to be mindful
