Special meeting of Village Council
Monday, October 27, 1970 -- 7:30 P. M.
Attending: Ston Schlief, gilliam Sandberg, kichard lilartie, James
Plaus, Franz Swanberg.
James Foster a ;plied for building permit for addition to house
and adding double garage. Request tabled to ascertain meeting
ordinance of clearance on property line and projection in re-
lation to adjacent houses.
Suburban Gas requested building perrrLit to build shop and office
south of B. N. tracks. James Aaus made motion to approve subject
to meeting requirements of State Highway Department clearance of
right-of-way Highway 25. Frai z Swanberg seconded. In favor:
Swanberg, 14aus, Martie, Schlief. Abstaining: Sandberg.
Franz Swanberg made motion to proceed with enclosing of Senior
Citizens Building stairwell per Gordon Schmidt bid. Seconded by
James 11aus. Also to check on water seepage to Huseth Bldg.
Ron Schlief to check with Schmidt and arrange for repair of side-
walk and cornices on Senior Citizens building. Motion carried.
Ron also to check on existing material with Hugh McKinnon. Get
credit on usable material.
Discussion of charges for maintaining dump. `dilliam Sandberg
moved to leave remittance at $150.00 until Jan. 1 and reconsider
then. James Plans seconded. Carried.
Budget discussion:
Action: iLeduce salary budget for Nark from. $2800.00 to $1600.00.
detain $19824.00 for sewer capital reserve.
Delete $15000.00 for street repair and capital outlay.
Transfer $20000.00 from Liquor fund to General Im-
provement fund to reduce levy.
Granlund to revise budget and have ready for special Council meeting
Thursday, October 29, at 5:00 P. 14.
